Summer Art Camp in Lansdale!
Camps for children age 6 to 10 and 10 to 14
Camp cost

Half Day session $250 per child per week (additional siblings/weeks discounted to $235)

Each session will be held onsite at Eclipse
Age 6 to 10
Morning sessions from 9:00 am - noon
Age 10 to 14
Afternoon sessions from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Additional Details:

Days will include free-style creative time, a chance to chill, and lots of artsy summer fun.

A *non-refundable $50 deposit per week of camp is required to reserve your space. Spaces are not confirmed until your deposit is received.

Bookings must be paid in full by May 20 to guarantee your place.

After May 20 bookings will be reserved on f a first-come first served basis by payment in full only.

There is a 5% processing fee for credit card payments
-
If the camp is cancelled due to lack of attendance your deposit will be refunded.
Pick-up & Drop-offs:
AM Session: Doors open for drop off at 8:45, Pickup at Noon
PM Session: Doors open for drop off at 12:45, Pickup by 4:00 pm
What do campers need to bring:

A snack for each session and a water bottle

Some weeks we may ask for campers to bring some specific items for projects. Campers and parents will be notified before the week starts.

Dress comfortably in clothes that are not precious, art is messy and clothing may get stained despite our best efforts to avoid that.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
-
Refund in full (less 5% processing fee) for cancellations before June 1.
-
No Refunds for cancellations less than 14 days before camp.

Cancellations after June 1 will receive studio credit only. This includes all enrollments received after June 1. (if space is available once camp begins they can be booked up to 2 week prior to the start date.)

Transfers will be permitted if space is available. The deadline for transfer requests is 14 days prior to your registered week.

Tuition will be refunded in full if camp is cancelled due to low enrollment.

There are no make-up days, credits or refunds for missed days of summer camp.
Camper Behavior Policy:
The safety and enjoyment of all campers is our top priority. Therefore, if your child creates an unsafe environment for themselves or other campers, or threatens or displays violence towards staff and/or students we reserve the right to refuse their continued participation in camp. Intentional destruction of the Center or other's property will also result in your child being removed from camp. Replacement and/or repair costs are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Bullying is not tolerated. If it occurs the camper will be counseled and parents notified. If the child does not respond to the counsel of the instructor/director they may be refused further participation in summer camp at Eclipse.
Tuition of the week that these behaviors are displayed will not be refunded. Tuition of any future weeks will be refunded. Deposits are non-refundable.
Liability Waiver:
I hereby release and hold harmless Eclipse Center for Creative Community its trustees, directors, officers, employees, agents, licensees or the property owner, VLS Inc. and their trustees, directors, officers and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, suits or liability, costs, expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees) damages and liabilities arising out of, or in connection with, any loss, personal injury, death, or other damage that I or my child may incur or suffer by reason or as a result of enrollment or participation in classes, events, camps, or lessons at Eclipse Center for Creative Community. I expressly assume all risk.
Your enrollment in camp serves as your signed acknowledgment of and agreement to the liability waiver, terms, conditions and policies in regard to participation in Summer Art Camp at Eclipse.

July 7-11, Into the Wild (Chrysta) discover and document the cool, creepy & cute animals who share our planet

July 14-18, Art a la Carte (Max) create with a variety of materials, pastels, pencil, charcoal, paint, and clay.

July 21-25, It’s a “Shore Thing” (Chrysta) beachy fun with sandcastles, shells and animals from under the sea.

July 28 - August 1, Fine Art (Suzanne) drawing and painting still lives, photos & favorite things including pop art style projects

August 4-8, Express yourself (Violet) a variety of art and craft projects all about you & what you like to do
-
August 11-15, Junior Printmakers (Rhonda) lots of inky fun as kids learn different ways to make their mark using household objects to create a variety of projects
-
August 18-22, For the Fun of It (Chrysta) explore your artsy side with a variety of materials and techniques

Drawing & painting including a project inspired by Henri Rousseau’s famous jungle paintings of animals peeking through long grasses. -
July 7-11, Paint like a Master (Max) Jump into a creative journey to discover new methods as we explore the work of masters including Van Gogh, Monet and Matisse.

July 7-11, Wearable Art (Violet) make a statement with jewelry, personalized clothing and accessories
-
July 14-18, Fine Art with Suzanne: Drawing & painting including projects inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

July 14 -18, Fiber Art (Violet) sew your own plushies plus other fiber art projects
-
July 21-25, Character Drawing (Max) Put pen, pencil, marker & magic to paper as we bring drawings Inspired by the early works of the Walt Disney Company to life.

July 28 - Aug 1, Digital character design with Procreate (Violet) Explore the fundamentals of designing a character with Procreate! Campers must bring their own iPad & Apple Pencil with Procreate installed.

July 28 - Aug 1, Sculpture (Max) Hand formed sculpture with different materials including air dry clay and paper mache.

August 4-8, Design Star (Chrysta) plan your dream room, create a design board and make decorations for it

August 11-15, Fine Art (Suzanne) drawing & painting including a project inspired by the art of Henri Matisse

August 11-15, Express yourself (Max) Create works of art through collage and mixed media. The possibilities are endless!

August 18-22, Art Journaling and Plein Air (Max) Journal the world around you through pen and watercolor
-
August 18-22, Printmaking (Rhonda) Carve stamps, make monoprints, posters, and learn the basics of letterpress
HEPA filters are run in the classrooms.
Hand sanitizer is available.
If your child is not feeling well please do not bring them to camp.
